End of Year message

Information and Advice

Today is the last day of term for many schools, and for us, as many, it has been a very busy academic year. While some of our work takes a pause over the summer break, we still remain contactable at: info@slideaway.org or on 07970 597715.

It seems like only yesterday that we were returning in September, yet so much has happened since then. We have launched our new website, gone online with our referral forms, offered new in depth training on children’s grief to professional colleagues and strengthened our team with Kathy Jary joining as our Operations Manager, Mina McPhee as our Fundraiser, Bonny Sullivan as our Clinical Administrator and Penny Harris as our Senior Bereavement Practitioner.

These and other changes behind the scenes have helped to ensure we remain flexible and effective in the face of growing numbers of referrals, whilst others around us struggle. We are in a strong position for the new academic year and ready to support the bereaved children and young people in Kent referred to us.
