Slide Away Fundraiser
We’re looking for an ambitious, confident and engaging Fundraiser to join Slide Away.  This is a great opportunity to create and develop a team of voluntary fundraisers which has a outstanding potential for growth.
Initially this role is for 10 hours per month, but with the possibility of expanding in the future.
In this role you will:
  • Recruit, manage, and support volunteer fundraisers within the community, helping them to reach their fundraising potential and ambitious goals.
  • Identify, develop and retain new relationships with corporate supporters, fundraising groups and high potential individuals
  • Inspire and bring out the best in our supporters, corporate partnerships and fundraising groups, engaging with them to help us support our children and young people through bereavement.
  • Work with Slide Away colleagues and volunteers to unlock new opportunities.
  • Organise and run fundraising activities and events.

Workshop Assistant/Volunteer
Slide Away is looking for volunteers/workshop assistants to work with us at our therapeutic workshops and memory days.  Volunteers may be expected to support three sessions, from 8.30am to 4.30pm on a Friday and from 8.30am to 4.30pm or 9.00am to 1.30pm on Saturday. You will also need to be available for a clinical supervision session, usually held virtually on the Tuesday evening following the workshop. Ideally, you will have an educational background or have worked with children in the past, but all applications will be considered and are subject to a full DBS disclosure. Fundraising Volunteer
We are looking to recruit community fundraising volunteers to help organise fundraising for Slide Away.  You would be volunteering as one of a team under the guidance of our Slide Away Fundraiser.  If you would be interested in helping, please contact
