Senior Bereavement Practitioner
The Senior Bereavement Practitioner will be responsible for supporting children and young people referred to Slide Away by providing individual support and leading group sessions, workshops and memory days. They will work closely with parents, carers and schools to ensure the best outcomes for the child or young person. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with groups of children and the ability to lead a staff team in group sessions.
The role is for 27 hours per week, Term Time only. It includes predetermined weekend working. Admin will be home based.

Workshop Assistant/Volunteer
Slide Away is looking for volunteers/workshop assistants to work with us at our therapeutic workshops and memory days. Volunteers may be expected to support three sessions per year on predetermined weekends. You will also need to be available for a clinical supervision session, usually held virtually on the Tuesday evening following the workshop. Ideally, you will have an educational background or have worked with children in the past, but all applications will be considered and are subject to a full DBS disclosure. Fundraising Volunteer
We are looking to recruit community fundraising volunteers to help organise fundraising for Slide Away. You would be volunteering as one of a team under the guidance of our Slide Away Fundraiser. If you would be interested in helping, please contact sue.crocker@slideaway.org
