Training

Our 'Children’s Grief' training programme has been designed to give professionals an understanding of the impact that a bereavement can have on a child or young person. It has been approved through the British Psychological Society Quality Mark Scheme for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development.

Individual modules making up the Children’s Grief programme provide an understanding of the factors that contribute to a child or young person’s reactions following a bereavement; the programme aims to give learners the confidence to use and apply their learning in their organisations for the benefit of the children and young people they support.

The following modules are currently being offered. Please click on the links provided to view the learning outcomes and to book your place.

Our training is open and relevant to anyone who, in their professional role, works with children and young people who have been bereaved.

No, the modules can be undertaken in any order, although we would recommend that module 1, 'An Introduction to Children's Grief' is done first.

We make no charge to our subscribed School Bereavement Contacts for our training, but we ask that other professionals pay the fees above to attend.

To book your place, please follow the links above.

If there are no dates listed for the training module of your choice, follow the link for the module, and then 'Select your admission ticket'. From there, select one of the dates listed and then add your name to the waiting list where indicated.
